Frequently Asked Questions

Are pre-orders required?

Pre-orders are recommended, but not required! We have items available for purchase at our contactless walk-up window. You can also place an order online for same-day pickup.

When do you sell out?

We are a small batch bakery and continuously bake throughout the day. For the day’s updated inventory, look on our online ordering. We encourage pre-ordering if there’s something you really want!

Do you take phone orders?

The easiest way to order is online; however, we do take phone orders. Please be advised that Saturday and Sunday mornings are our busiest times so the line may be busy.

How do I pick up my pre-order?

Please find a staff member and tell them your pickup name.

Do you offer delivery?

Yes! When placing an order, select the delivery option and it will be fulfilled by Doordash. Please note that Doordash sets the delivery range, not us.

Do you offer whole cakes?

Yes! We offer large versions of our princess cake and carrot cake. 

These must be ordered before 10am the day prior to pickup. If it doesn’t appear in the menu, make sure you select the correct pick-up date.

Can I place an order more than a week in advance? 

Our preorder system only allows orders to be placed 6 days in advance.

Do you sell bread at your Wicker Park location?

Yes! Bread is always available at our walk-up window. Bread pre-orders at our Wicker Park location must be ordered by 10am the day prior.

Is your patio open?

Yes – rain or shine! The patio is first come first serve. Orders must be placed at the register before sitting down. Dogs welcome :) 

Are you open for indoor dining? 

Only at our Wicker Park store. 

How do I use a gift card? 

Gift cards can only be used at our walk-up window or over the phone.

Do you have anything gluten free or vegan?

While our country loaf and baguette are technically vegan, we unfortunately do not offer any vegan or gluten free items.
